Arrests Following Attempted Vehicle Theft in Tadcaster

On 7th July 2026, North Yorkshire Police received a report from vigilant members of the public who witnessed two males attempting to steal a vehicle on Bridge Street, Tadcaster.

Following a prompt police response, officers conducted enquiries in the area and successfully located the two suspects nearby. Both males were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.
